Wardens

Greetings Aetherius.

trueassess few things to address in a public forum. I'll be brief, as
they don't apply to everyone.

First off, to those who might possibly track to someone in the Ithaqua
Forest. Be aware that certain portions of the Ithaqua are within the
Black Keep, guildhall of the Wardens. Should you track to someone in the
Ithaqua and discover yourself above a large courtyard, know that you're
likely flying about over a guild meeting. Please don't linger. Those who
do so will be asked once to depart, in what I presume will be a
professional and mature manner. My apologies and intent to make amends
go to Thad, who was recently fired upon, a tad early, and slain for that
exact thing.

Secondly, I wish to address the sex equality rule of the Wardens. I did
not invent the tradition, nor was I eager to follow it. But all
organizations have traditions. Where is the outrage, the hue and cry,
the gnashing of teeth, at how unfair it is that Wardancers are unable to
join Khandava? Who will protest the unfairness of forcing Necromancers
not to join Antioch? They're too busy protesting that a score of women,
who didn't really want to join in the first place, aren't able to join
the Wardens. And honestly, I've had enough of discussing it. The
reaction of the women of the world has more than justified the Warden's
tradition, and I will uphold that tradition to the best of my ability.
Those who have any further complaints or questions on the matter, please
check HELP WARDENS and refer your complaints to the guild's Divine
Patron.

That said, I overreacted to questioning by an Arboreal last month,
resorting to violence and childish insults before either were warranted.
After spending a month in solid surety that I was in the right, I have
realized I was not. Phoen, the arboreal in question, did nothing to
warrant an attack. To be sure, Phoen, you did nothing to warrant a
straight or polite answer either. But I was out of line for attacking,
in response to what I perceived, wrongly, to be a threat. I am sorry for
that, and I will pursue no more hostility with you, in the interest of
maintaining cordial relations with the Arboreals in general and with you
in specific.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
