Hail, Barmaid Queen!

It amuses me, the way things have changed. For ages, men have been
blamed for wars, for hunger, for poison ivy, even for something the
simple crime of breathing. Yet today roles are reversed. The Queen of
the Wenches has today sent a force into Ithaqua to retrieve something
that no longer exists. In the process, they killed several people
without cause. Not satisfied with our answer or the blood they shed,
they intruded into the Black Keep and again tried to kill several more
people. Their force was driven from the Black Keep with a minimal loss
of life amongst the Wardens.

The situation sat for a bit of time, until I thought I might try to make
the Queen of the Monthlies understand that the Worldweaver was
destroyed. Aye, I was rude. I had been slain in my own home not once,
but twice by people sent on her orders. Had Stavennites slain me, I
would likely have been just as rude to them. Yet I did not make a
violent move towards you or yours, and yet once again I was attacked and
slain this time by some forestall who thought she knew how to handle the
situation. It is not a matter of them being women; it is a matter of
simple respect. As of this day on, Raerka, Queen of the Milkmaids, you
shall have no respect from me.

To be clear, people have said that the Fury stole the Worldweaver. That
is not the case, the Fury sought to gain the use of the Worldweaver
through negotiations with the Queen of Greater Fancypants, however she
refused to part with it. She put the world in danger because of her
bias. It came down to a matter of combat, won fairly by the Fury.

We are not thieves, we are not callow. We will respond to the predations
of hormonal women with temper issues.

Good day.

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
