To aid the various governments of the realm toward understanding the
events that have occurred of late, I will make a formal summary
of policy as it relates to the Saboteur guild, on behalf of the Idras.

In retaliation for aggressive actions taken against the Idras and the
attempted invasion of our home within the Ithaqua, a declaration of war
against the Saboteurs was made the 18th day of Bellum in the year
436 AD.

A formal declaration of War is significantly different from personal
retaliation in two major ways. First, and potentially foremost, it
holds the organization responsible for the actions of its membership.
The leadership of the Saboteurs has implied involvement, even should
they not take part -directly- in combat. To date there have been
eleven Saboteurs involved aggressively against the Idras.

The second difference is that it allows for negotiation with the guild
leadership to result in a conclusion of hostilities. The terms wished
to end this war against the Saboteurs have already been messaged to
the Crux Shade. Her reply was less than encouraging, and cannot be
repeated publicly.

I did not deem it necessary at the beginning of this conflict to
announce such things publicly. But the various questions and concerns
I've received since that point warrant it.
