Ilaferi, Wardens, the prisoner

It seems to me, that both sides are going out of there way to find
excuses to go at each other. Which is truly dissapointing, and does much
to reinforce many opinions people hold about both sides in general.
However, in the instance of the warden prisoner, both sides are
perfectly correct. A rapist does deserve great deal of punishment. In
this, the Ilaferi are well within the contraints of what is just. The
wardens however, are also correct in there claim that the Ilaferi are
comminting Injustice, as the warden in question has not been given
trial, and from the sound of things, the confession could have been made
under duress.

The fact stands that the Laws of the Various cities do not apply out in
the wilds of Aetherius. In this regard, we must resort to the unwritten
laws of our own humanity. In my opinion, any man who violates a woman is
not worthy to call himself a man, or to have any ability to claim such a
right. I do however, also believe that holding someone without proven
cause is a form of abduction, which is also highly improper. As most of
us have to go on what one person said, versus what another said, the
entire issue of the imprisoned warden has become extreemly murkey. If
however, the Ilaferi could produce evidence, that is concrete, and not
based upon any confessions extracted by a Javelin point, it might do
better to codify this current situation. From there, both sides would
not how best to proceed.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Aequitas, in the year 437 AD.
