Blasphemy

Lord of the Seasons, Wolf of the Wheel, and His people-

I have had moments in my life where my goals were not quite in line with
those of the Order of the Seasons. The older and better preserved of you
may recall a minor discussion pertaining to theological differences
which took place in Khandava some years gone.

But at no point have I wished violence or even ill upon You or Yours.
And the recent slaying of the Voice of Summer within the very Temple of
the Seasons galls me, as it was a Warden who delivered the blow. My
brother Cyrius remains my brother still. Anyone will agree I have
experience dealing with slightly troublesome brothers, I think. Cyrius,
I'm sure, already knows the lesson learned, but I have no doubt he will
learn it nonetheless in the coming months.

I have delivered a small gift of gold to Your coffers in Khandava, Lord
Janus. I hope that begins to make recompense for the slaying of Your
Voice. I can speak with relative confidence that the next Warden to slay
a God's Prophet on that God's sacred ground will not be shooting any
arrows anytime soon thereafter.

In Wrath, in Ice,
Harker

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Ferinus, in the year 438 AD.
