The prince of flames

Written by: Lord Sparda Gazali, Warden of The Pit
Date: Monday, July 12th, 2004
Addressed to: Rivaidan Murne, Wildchild of the Phoenix

Greetings,

Contrary to popular belief the prince of flames is no daemon but a
magicker from an island to the west which was destroyed by a natural
disaster. He came to Khandava in search of a new home and he seems to be
quite comfortable where he is, he's stated that he's not burning any
more than he has in order to make his home.

When he first came to us in search of his dagger he was greeted with as
much hostility as he would anywhere else since we suspected he was a
greater daemon. When we found out about his true origin and that he only
sought to settle in the forests, taking only what he needs to make his
home, we gave him the dagger he was looking for in return for his
friendship. He has held to his word and you should be honoured that he
should seek to make his home in what i'm told is a forest you don't own.
I believe you are charged with its protection though so your concern is
understandable but all he's doing is taking what he needs from the
forests, you do the same.

If we hadn't enemied you then how would Alekmanhala know to attack you?
As you said he is loyal to Stavenn and i can only assume he requires us
to tell him who he is at risk from.

In darkness,
Lord Sparda Gazali

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Artificium, in the year 438 AD.
