Natural philosophy

If the councils are so adept at co-existing with nature then where are
the trees and plants that once existed in your bank and post office?
I've also been thinking recently are we mortals a part nature or
seperate from it? above it? If we're a part of nature then surely our
actions are part of nature too much like a wolf killing a lamb is also
part of nature. The wolf takes the lamb to survive but the flock remains
largely unharmed. So is this prince of flames taking what he needs to
survive from the forest. It is a natural event unless you want to
concede that sentient mortals such as us are above nature.

Yes, it was quite a nice deal we struck with the prince, thankyou but I
don't see it as a necessary point of conflict since i've been told that
the people of the forests are scholars capable of reasoning.

Also are you aware that it is often necessary for native forest dwellers
to perform "controlled fires" to burn away dead undergrowth that is
choking the new bloom. Clearly the prince of flames is here to burn away
the lethargy which besots the forests.

In darkness,
Lord Sparda Gazali
