Syrius, you've been a friend to me for quite a while, but this is a bit
of a misguided attempt to.. fix? destroy? explain? I've still got no
clue precisely the intent. But regardless.

Yes, the treaty is a bit of a hard pill to swallow. I myself was a bit
taken aback when it went into effect, but it wasn't really my place to
oppose or interfere with it. It's between the Bards and Stavenn after
all, and I am neither.

Now, when push comes to shove, I really don't catch how you're going to
be doing any sketching to actually sell it, considering people will be
on your tail constantly, and more than likely mere minutes after you
reject your Gods-given grace.

On the explanation and apologies - I've lost by one vote before too.
You deal with it. It hurts, but you deal with it and keep going. A spot
on the ruling council isn't everything, certainly not worth risking
everything just to secure a spot. I'm content where I am, possibly
moreso now than ever, why weren't you?

I've witnessed pointless fighting (and on occasion engaged in it much
to my regret later). You live with it, you stop it if you can and if
you can't you ignore it and lament over the idiocy that spawns it. It's
a sad affair, yes, but we can not control people, merely guide them.

Now, I disagree with people immediately deciding to plant knives in
your back instead of trying to reason or explain, but I'm not people.
Just me. Don't give them a reason to -really- hate you..

.. like -actually- selling sketches and blowing your credibility,
assumed or otherwise, completely out of the water.
