And others who think similarly

Recently I have spoken to you, Yobgal, asking why you defiled my
Father's shrines. The answer you gave floored me. You said it was
because you did not wish the taint of magick near your home in the
desert or otherwise. You said that my Father, Lord Janus, has too many
shrines as it is. While that may be true, it is certainly not your place
to dictate how many shrines any one order places and rarely is it an
issue where they are placed. The reason for so many shrines is for the
simple fact of several attempts to defile my Father's shrines. We
Walkers of the Wheel hold true to every shrine defiled or destroyed, we
raise two in its place.

The problem with your logic is simple. If you had a problem with the
seasons, I would understand you much better but you egregiously assume
that the followers of a Divine label the God or Goddess. You cannot
label a God. Only a God can do that Himself or Herself. To assume what a
God stands for without even glancing at Their ethos is ridiculous! It
would be like saying Lady Cassiopeia (a thousand pardons my Lady. I do
love You. Tis only an example) is a nitwit because She is the patron
Goddess of guilds that others don't agree with and they see Her
followers as a definition of Her. Lord Janus is in no way a magicker.
His realm is the Seasons. I challenge anyone to show me one word or hint
of magick in His ethos. The Walkers of the Wheel may be magick or they
may not! We have many in His order stretching from Ithaqua to Khandava
and nearly everything in between. Even your precious city of Antioch,
Yobgal.

I tire quickly of those of you who bad mouth magick users behind their
back, calling them tainted and filthy. While you may not like magick,
you are not practicing any sort of manners, courtesy or even kindness. I
ask frequently for tolerance toward your views of non-magick. I warn my
guild novices often to take great care if entering your city. I would
appreciate a little tolerance in return. We haven't any shrines in your
city. We respect your laws when entering the desert and your homes. So
cease your war upon us, Yobgal. You are entirely free to have your
opinion but you shall not force it upon others such as myself and my
Father's order. Do not represent your humble city in such a way.

Chalice of Spring,
Wren Caelis

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
