Public News Post #1251

To All Cities, Councils, Guilds, Orders, et al.

Hail, Aetherius.

Early this month, an unspeakable act of treachery took place, headed by
the known outlaw, Velius. He has stolen hundreds of thousands of gold
from the Merchant Guild of Aetherius, and then proceeded to attempt to
sell the organization to the highest bidder. The fact that he grossly
undercharged is irrellevant.

The Merchant Guild has been secured, and is again in the hands of those
Merchants who make their living honestly, through trade and craft.
However, it does not erase the fact that this deed has been done. As the
Merchant Guild holds as members citizens from every council, most
guilds, and I assume most orders, the theft of the money put into it by
its members constitutes theft from every organizations' members.

Therefore, I hereby officially ask that every organization that has not
already done so, to please enemy Velius. Give him no sanctuary from his
deeds, no reprive from his pursuers, at least to the extent that he
returns what he has stolen from our collective people.

We, the Merchants of Aetherius, thank you for your consideration.
Furthermore, we have no objection to any city, council, order, clan,
family, or organization taking vengeance upon Velius for his acts
against the people of this continent.

Neko Savann, Clanhead, Merchants of Aetherius

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Fas, in the year 442 AD.
