A few things.

Yes, I was not informed of your having departed the realms in the city
until it was too late, and yes, I did intend to set that straight.
Unfortunately through the discussions that ensued it was forgotten. I
will take the full blame for that.

However, you knew full well what awaited if you slew Tondalar within the
city, this I had informed you. If you killed him for throwing insults, I
would have much rather had it with you notifying an Erege, Security
Aide, or me. As it stands, I wasn't informed about anything of the kind
until much later by someone who is not you.

Your fine for the enemy status is considered paid, and at half the
normal price at that. The status will, however, remain. I personally do
not appreciate people who know the laws full well and still break them,
as you can rightly understand.

I will also offer my head as a replacement of that of my guard, perhaps
twice if you're so inclined. I am not about to inform someone's family
of the passing of their parents, siblings, or children due to my own
mistake.

All was not well, and I am disappointed to say that. This should not
have happened, but human error is indeed an annoying factor in
everything. It struck again.

PS. Tondalar? Be quiet, you lying twit. I gave you the benefit of the
doubt and you repay me by managing to frustrate someone to the point of
wanting you dead. Good going, now you have two people out for your head.
