I couldnt help but notice not seven months ago, the newly elected Crux
Shade came before us all to declare, The previous alliance between
Stavenn and the
Saboteurs is no longer in effect. However, present actions of both the
Saboteurs and Stavenn, combined with the veritable cornucopia of
wormholes within Stavenn, leads the rest of us to believe otherwise. It
would be interesting to see the political back pedaling these events
will cause upon this forum. Is the bully child merely returning to the
breast of its mother having been slapped around by its once victim?
The Idrasi and Saboteur struggle has been back and forth since the
rediscover of the Idrasi within the snow fields. Each and every time an
agreement is reached, there is some action on the part of the Saboteurs
to ignore doctrine, or embrace it, and begin the blood feud again.
Luthyr and Vega made a formal policy amidst the heat of their botanical
passion to resurrect the war and then invited their loving lapdog,
Stavenn, into the fray. As Vegas reign toppled, the Saboteurs once again
were at peace with the Idrasi, primarily because the vengeful goons that
formed their assassins found themselves with some deeply rooted personal
issues.
As Drillias playtime as Crux Shade came upon us, there was a glimmer of
hope. Sadly, the curse of the Crux Shade befell another victim. The
greed and hypocrisy of the position allowed her to not only accept, but
embrace the arts of their natural enemy. Going against the very fabric
of creation, the saboteurs began allowing their blood enemies into their
guildhall to produce the fabled Idrasi toxins. To worsen the situation,
the proud Saboteurs waddled up to mother Stavenn, extending packs of
vials of the precious Idrasi secrets. And to this day, they sit in
Stavenn snuggling and cavorting with the local infestation gasping in
mock surprise, Our wormholes!Why?
Ah well, I know there will be a slew of nuh uhs and shut up, whorden
that spring from the mouths of the babes, but do know, should your
little pissing contest begin to threaten those of the black pines, youll
find yourself beneath the wrath of the north wind.
