As with any conflict around here, there are a great many people who like
to jump on the kill wagon. At best it can be amusing, but I have to
wonder at what exactly people are fighting for. Do you really have a
purpose? Or did you just create one so you aren't left out?
What it boils down to is, a conflict over who will hold domain over
land, a conflict between two forestal councils and Stavenn has become a
free for all for the rest of the world. I pity those of you, those so
petty you have to leech off someone else's conflict to feed your egos
and arrogance. Are you going to help the people who actually have a
stake in this find resolution, or are you going to continue on with the
ways you have, ways that have resulted in drawing more into this
conflict, and creating issues that run deeper now than some claim of
land.
I was asked by an Arboreal if the Noctusari were involved in a war, a
war of Nature vs City. Pardon me? If this is the case, then why are so
many from Kinsarmar and Antioch involved? If you don't know why you are
fighting, then why the hell are you fighting?
As said, this is a conflict about land claim, and for Stavenn it is
nothing more, and that demand will not lessen. You want to make it more
in your minds, that's your priviledge, but don't expect us to pander to
it. Stavenn now stands united, the Noctusari's initial stance was never
about if that land did or did not belong to the Empire, why we stood
back initially is of no concern of yours, but know this forestals, your
supposed allies in their wisdom may also be your most vile enemy, and
will most likely be the cause of this dragging out for a time unknown.
That said, this is a conflict that is between Khandava, Celidon and the
two guilds associated with them. That is where it should begin and end.
This conflict is no one else's affair, no matter how much you try and
twist it to make it so. If you aren't directly involved, then how about
staying out of it and let the people who have an actual stake in
it...play it out to its end. I'm sure the Councils are mature people who
can handle it, just as Stavenn is prepared to do so. Do not think we
care if it's us against the world, it's been this way for decades, it
matters not. It would be, in my opinion, something worthy of history if
people could allow those involved to do what they have to do and let it
be done as they see fit. I'm sure we can all find something new and
better to kill each other over next year.
