stated that if he turned his back on his magicks to become a Cleric, why
would he not turn his back upon other facets of his life he had formerly
embraced and feigned loyalty to?


I know your brother in law and his "passions". They were vividly
described to me in gory detail the day I was taken captive by him and
his Arboreal friends. Do not disgust me further with the memory of his
said "passion". If your brother in law truly embraces the life of a
cleric, then it could easily be imagined he would turn on you, who
appears to be a mage. Unless the clerics do not mind consorting with
magick users?
