The Ilaferi

Sisters of the bow,

I must agree with Harker in extended an invitation to you to call the
Black Pines your home. Those of your tribe have long struggled against
the forces of nature and the forces of other mortals. It wasn't so long
ago that Harker and I looked on the Tree of the Ilaferi and saw demons
scampering about its branches, Diavlous tearing out the innards of your
sisters and the nightmares of the wiley malignists preying upon your
weak and needy. So brutal was the blow that it forever corrupted the
thoughts and beliefs of your final Narwa'inya.

Those few of you who are left have my respect and possess many of the
traits that we in the frozen north deem worthy of such respect. I
commend those of you who seek to continue upon the ways of their tribe
and urge you all, if you so desire, to seek me out to find you a home
beneath the boughs of the Frozen North.

The rest of you, I urge you to think on the history of your tribe and
realise who inflicted more pain upon the Amazons of the south, the
fraternity of the Wardens and those of the Black Pine or those petty
imps and playthings of the demons. It would be a shame for years of
struggle to be simple turned upon for a romp in the demonic hay or the
clink of coin in exchange for your art.

Good luck to you,
~Kabal

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Solis, in the year 453 AD.
