Betrayal

Brogon Elarien, I write to you today on the subject of your betrayal of
the Wardens. You had arrows made for your personal use right before you
left, and you insisted on keeping them for yourself. You took advantage
of one of our morals, like you had so often in the guild.

You also were given the chance to give the arrows back, and denied the
offer. For that you were hunted and slain and will continue to be. And
finally you decide to sell the arrows... Making you an enemy of the
Wardens indefinitely. You call me the ignorant one, but I think it is
you who doesn't have the intelligence to see the truth. You sell those
arrows for a short period of time, they'll go away. We won't. Our hate
for you will last a lifetime and then some. And this battle isn't the
Wardens against you and your allies. This is your battle Brogon. You may
drag other people into it, but they aren't our concern.

And you underestimate the Wardens, Sir Brogon Elarien. I've heard that
you've called us an orphanage of whiny children, or something of the
likes. We may be young, but I'm tempted to say we have more heart than
any guild out there. We may not have the best fighters, but we learn and
grow every day.

And as a side note to those that have dealings with this man: Do you
really wish to place your confide in a man that has the nerve to betray
and take advantage of trust from men he called "Brothers"? He now is
also common sight in the city he once fought against with passion, and
now he shows no remorse. If he has the nerve to do that, what is the
promise he can't betray you? Be careful who you trust.

I'd like to finally mention that I was wrong about you, Brogon. I
trusted your intentions and decided to give you a chance. You claim that
you Wanted to be a part of the brotherhood so badly, but you've stabbed
me in the back. It seems to me that you really did try hard to stay in
the brotherhood. All we asked was a little more morality, but you
couldn't even do that. And now you claim I didn't give you a chance. I
let you in the guild after being warned by Harker, among others, that
you were a threat to the existence of the guild. Your actions could have
gotten you outguilded on more than one occasion, but I had the blind
hope that you could change. I couldn't have been more wrong. You can't
change Brogon.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
