What is evil?

It's odd to think that I would be asking such a question, being what I
am, but truly consider, what is evil?

There are some that would say evil is dark magick, or evil is demons.
There are others that would say emotions are evil, and yet others that
would say those that are good are evil, while those that are evil are
good.

I'm not going to try to convince anyone to think that dark magick is not
evil. It is not called 'dark' magick for naught. But, consider this.

Many in this realm have fought, killed, plundered, and stolen from
people who are marked as different then they are. That is an evil, of a
sort.

Is it not also an evil to keep two hearts from loving, just because
they're different? Isn't evil to divide the world for petty dislikings
of things you don't like, and therefore deem evil?

Love is sometimes a fickle thing, and often we cannot choose those that
are hearts decide to love.

I am a Noctusari, in love with someone not of guild, and not of my city.
For so longe we have stiffed to be together without being punished. Yet
there are so many fighting against us, and the bonds of our love.

So, look at the person you love, whether they be lover, husband, wife,
or a family member. Look at them, and truly ponder who you would do if
all the world tried to come between you, tried to tear you apart because
you were on opposites sides of the lightening spectrum.

Now think about that person being torn away from you, and you are
helpless to do anything about it, because you are different.

Consider this: There are many varities of good and evil. Do you know
what kind of evil you are taking an active hand in? Do you want to be
marked as evil be others? Do you want to be seen as evil in the eyes of
the ones you love?
