Several things

Begrudgingly, I decided to part with another sum of gold to make a
second post. So, against the protests of my scribe, I will lump several
topics together to save me from spending more gold on yet another post.
Oh, who am I kidding. I can't even afford a scribe. The writing you see
before you comes straight from my hand.

First of all, in regards to my previous scribings. The only reply to me
that was of any importance whatsoever was that of Sparda Gazali. As for
the rest of you, who chose to weigh in on the subject, publically, and
especially those of you who did it privately - Please cease riding
Sparda Gazali's coat-tails. Your input is so highly inconsequential, I
would not even be writing this post, had I not a more important topic to
address.

Namely, aside from the overly idiotic threats I've received from young
and stupid demon workers, I've also received a number of statements of
support from varius individuals of Aetherius. That was unexpected, as
few people even know where the jungle ruins of n'Aryanvella lie. It also
got me thinking.

When the Empire of Stavenn invaded the city of n'Aryanvella, they left
few survivors behind, including my own family. Most of these survivors
have left the ruins shortly thereafter. And while Stavenn's attack came
with little or no advanced warning, its very likely that some
individuals forsaw it and fled the city shortly before the attack
commenced. It is also very likely, in my view, that a number of people
managed to survive the attack by hiding behind the Panda Gate, as
Stavenn's forces, at the time, were unable to figure out the secret of
opening the gate (now that secret is well-known, due to Varessa handing
out keys to the cache of surviving documents to every Dick, Tom and
Harry. But I digress). Notice that all of the above is a conjecture on
my part, for which I have no proof whatsoever, other than was I know of
my own ancestry - which is sketchy at best.

However, should what I say be true, there are surely people all over
Aetherius right now who stem from the families who fled n'Aryanvella.
Since many centuries have passed since the exodus, it is doubtful that
these individuals will have any known distinguishing characteristics -
especially since my knowledge of what the indiginous n'Aryanvellans
looked like is quite fuzzy. The records seem to imply that they were all
human, yet an interracial marriage in my own family started a bloodline
of n'Aryanvellan akrabi, so I don't see why that would not be true for
other races as well. Regardless of that, however, if you found any
family records which indicate that you may be a descendant of a
n'Aryanvellan exile, or even if your intuition simply tells you that you
might be, I would like to hear from you, so that we may discuss whether
or not you actually are one. I wish to unite the n'Aryanvellan diaspora,
as a group of people sharing a common history. It is certainly not my
goal to reconstruct the city of n'Aryanvella.

Which brings me to my last point, albeit a rather unpleasant one. It is
rather likely that during their incursion to my city, Stavenn has
captured a number of citizens to use as slave labor. As history teaches
us, slaves eventually homogenize into the city that enslaved them and
become rank-and-file citizens. If you are a Stavennite who feels that
they come from a family lead into slavery by Stavenn, and you wish to
return to your home, speak with me as well. Needless to say that if any
who choose to do so will be expected to renounce any ties with Stavenn
or demons.

Having made my points, I wish to conclude with the following statement.
I believe I outlined quite clearly who I wish to contact me. Anyone
contacting me for reasons other than the ones I stated with regards to
this post will be wasting their time and money, as their opinion will be
duly noted and summarily dismissed.

Heiress of Cezre,
Ailish Eraudan

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Ultio, in the year 459 AD.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
