The word you used 'forestal' is a direct contradiction to your argument.

Forestals are branded as such because they claim ownership (or
'protection' as a euphemism) of the forest areas. They have the power to
call upon the forest's magik to rise up and defend against those they
believe are a threat. The definition of a 'threat' is soley at the
discretion of the Council leaders. They can and have acted pre-emptively
in the past and I imagine they'll do so again in the future.

So, argue as you will little forestal, but at least take a moment to sit
back and chuckle at the irony and hypocrisy of your argument.
