Wren, the Duchess of Lies

To Wren and those who slink about in Kinsarmar:

First, know that after a lovely little talk with your newest Duchess, I
have learned that you deserve the fate you have brought upon yourself
and your pile of rubble in the north. You choose to twist my words as
you desire, attempting to garner both sympathy and support for yourself
in a way that the most deceptive Stavennite torturer would envy. My
statement was that we have no -need- for your wares, and that we really
don't care whether you are willing to give them to us or not. Again, as
I warned you earlier... you have put words in my mouth three times now.
Valarauko is not one to forget.

"We run to our city yes but that is after we have fought bravely." Yes
indeed, bravery. I sally single-handed into your 'impenetrable
fortresses' and slay your best warriors, by myself. You cannot speak of
cowardice, scum. Your words would make me angry if they were not so
laughable. I kill Novices do I? Only when they choose to strike me. As a
matter of a fact I have been deeply cautious in choosing my targets.

'Never once have you seen battle tried on equal ground', eh? I agree!
Kinsarmar would hardly dare to face me or any other of Stavenn's finest
on 'equal ground'... you far prefer to 'coward Waymark' back behind
guards, totems, siege machines, and all your other little trinkets that
you think will save your pathetic hides.

Poor and broken. Hurting for commodities and gold. Cowards who talk big
and bully. Brave words, brave words indeed for a very small and
inconsequential Duchess. Remind me again... who are you saying these
things about? Is that a mirror I spy you looking at? Ah yes, that would
be Kinsarmar. Thank you for pointing these scintillating bits of
information out to Aetherius.

I respect some in your city, and I respect your resolve and
determination to stick to your... nets... and press forward in your
opposition to the Empire. You have, however, lost completely any shreds
of honour you -did- possess with your lies.

Wren, to you personally. You said that you will never kneel, to anyone.
That you 'don't do kneeling'... I believe was the phrase.

You will kneel. Again and again and again before me and my allies. You
and your city will bleed and scream and beg for quarter and die and die
again and beg again until you beg for the privilege of a chance at
peace.

And I will laugh, and cut off your legs, yet again. And you will
kneel... again.

Enjoy wandering Dis for eternity, Bane of Kinsarmar.

-Valarauko Vian'Cirith-

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
