Your conditions

Written by: Duchess Wren Kith'Vahni, Lady of the Dragoons
Date: Friday, June 3rd, 2005
Addressed to: Martyn Faris

I will be polite and succinct.

If this war merely a matter of pride, it would be over by now. I do not
ask my warrior nor do I put to myself the duty of dying for something as
callous and stupid as pride. That's a male trait I do not possess. This
is about dignity, standards and the basis of all that Kinsarmar is based
upon. We fight you to keep our freedom, the very thing you propose to
take away. We fight you to keep our honor. We fight you to keep our
city. We are not going to just give it over to you.

Also, know that someday, possibly soon, people will realize that you
seek to conquer all of the world for your very own. They will soon
voluntarily join Kinsarmar to fight against you. We started this war
with just ourselves but the more you make demands in front of the world,
the more you are exposed for the tyrants you truly are and nothing is
more precious to man than freedom. Watch yourselves for soon, you will
be faced with an angry world beating at your sad gates and though you
have many ways to run away, you cannot run in your own city. Especially
when there is also a group outside to meet you.

In service of Kinsarmar always and her freedom,
Lady Wren Kith'Vahni
Duchess of Kinsarmar

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Halitus, in the year 464 AD.

Onward to 2021
