just a small rant

I will begin this post with a few quotes from the Lore Keepers Code-

Honorable-He remember that his actions in any given situation reflect
himself and his brotherhood, and he never wishes to shame either.

Chivalrous-Courtesy is rendered to those around him, even a fallen foe,
for that is what separates him from his enemy.

Compassionate-Those less fortunate or less capable are those she can
best help, for her acts of compassion and mercy can be worth more than a
sharpened blade or a tempered breastplate.

Just-Tempered with compassion, his justice is never vengeful or
wrathful.

Now I am well aware of what the rest of the code says, particularly in
regards to its upholding of Kinsarmar. However, not long ago when I was
sitting in a shop of Stavenn with a friend of mine taking in some food,
a group of Kinsarmarians tried to summon me. When I informed then once
more that I was not Stavennite they summoned instead my friend Sarn.
By the way I grow tired of having to remind each and everyone of you
essence hungry people, I have absolutely nothing to do with this petty
eternal pissing contest between Kinsarmar and Stavenn.. If you wish to
stake claim on my life because I am a demonic Noctusari.. prove to me
honestly what threat I present and I may actually give a fair fight,
that is if I am not jumped unaware with my nose in a book. Though that
is a little off subject.
Now Sarn, to begin with, is not even an honest fraction when compared to
my might and those who slew him are stronger than I. I ask this. How is
summoning a person who is not clearly by title a Stavennite, or by any
means presentable as a threat, and beheading them in keeping with any
sort of conduct becoming a knight?
Normally I tend to avoid posting but this particular transgression I
cannot remain silent on. And the conduct of a once honorable city has
become detestable. Stavenn has legitimate reason for seeming brutal and
thuggish. Kinsarmar however is suppose to be above such things or has it
suddenly become justifiable to your ancestors to sink lower than the
level of thine enemies?
Oh and before any of you asks what sort of right I have to speak of
Kinsarmar.. I paid my life and blood to Kinsarmar long ago, even when I
was a Noctusari, because it was what I believed in. It is a shame that
what once was a bastion of diversity has now become nothing more than a
den of serpents that masquerade as doves.

Look to those inside yourselves before you try to slay demons in this
world, you will find more challenge there.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
