Apology

Written by: Sivan Theseus
Date: Saturday, July 2nd, 2005
Addressed to: The Great Bear, Stavros Ruadh Ftero, The Hammer of Law

Lord Stavros and the citizens of Antioch.

This is my formal appology to yourselves for the harm done to your city
in recent months by the Idrasi Guild members. I will not say that the
wrongs were not earned, nor will I say they were waranted, but they
occured. For this, as the longest standing Sivan of the Idrasi and Head
of their Novices I appologise. I have provide the Carbaryl Virus to many
who do not have the means to produce it themselves and as the Head of
Learning I am at fault for any misconduct by our members.

I have been lax in recent years with decorum and the Way of the Wolf has
not been taught in its entirety to our young. I could blame the fact we
have had a large a influx of Novices and Probates, but I know as you do
this is no excuse. The Idrasi are not murderers and we are not
dishonourable. We abide by a strict code that is known in the heart of
all true Idrasi Masters which is passed on through example to the young.

I request that you begin negotiations with the outridders again to
re-enforce the trust of the Idrasi that as a group with similar ideals
you once had. I accept and request that those blamed for the recent
incidents are forgiven by your institution(s) and will willingly and
knowlingly take upon my shoulders the responsibility. I know, in my
heart as an Idrasi Master, an Ithaquan and I hope a respected citizen of
Aetherius that those blamed are not at fault. There were close to a
Dozen Idrasi present at the time of the incident, many of who can make
the Virus themselves, and others who received it from my own hand as
apart of their training. It is quite clear to all with eyes the fault is
my own. From lack of education and providing the Virus to many.

I thank Lord Stavros for His Wisdom in seeing the just and lawful way to
act in this matter and hope that the law against Masks is repelled as I
am the person who has wronged Antioch through negligence of my duties as
entrusted through two Guildmasters

Please know that I have also informed all non-probated Idrasi of my
investigations into the matter as I informed you yourself Lord Stavros.
Sivan Galt was going to act as a Scapegoat to the recent affairs as he
saw it as more logical than I myself since he was present at the time
and I am more respect as a non-bloodthirsty Idrasi. Know I am not a
scapegoat. I am fairly certain I know who organised the poisoning and
know it was indeed a direct result of negligence by myself and one or
two others. Also know I have informed the Idrasi that as of this post, I
shall be neforcing strict discipline upone all members through severe
and multiple dissfavours for any slight breach of our protocol.

Also know that Masks had nothing to do with the current affairs and the
simple and rather innocent ability to aide Idrasi from their multiple
enemies is not a threat to Antioch. An assassination is that, a way to
earn the gold to survive, meat on for the belly and warmth in the
snowfield. Live a life in the Snowfields and die at the hands of Dire
Wolves enought Antioch, then judge an Idrasi.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Ultio, in the year 466 AD.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
