Greetings,
Unfortunately, there are those that have insulted the Desert City in a
manner that is of the lowest and most undignified method. First of all,
those of the lowest and malicious conducts that I have seen in many
years, have executed blasphamous means to vandalize and deface blessed
shrines of Antioch's patron.
Knowing full well that Antioch's beliefs are to refrain from magick use
and magick corruption, these imbeciles affixed magick sapphires on our
shrines. When we questioned the guilty party, who happened to be the
Priest of Eloweth, he informed us that he would not remove the
sapphires, laced with magick, until we agreed to follow the magick path.
The so called priest admitted to this defilement of the most currupt
fashion to me and two others.
Of course, if we agreed to the magick path, then it would not be
necessary to remove them. But we refrained from this request and asked
nicely and in a respectful manner, but still recieved the same reply.
Finding this an insult to the City as a whole and our Patrons, we
attacked him. It was well worth dying for, to smite the so called priest
a few times, and well worth being enemied for, because I am firm in my
beliefs and always will be.
Nevertheless, we were granted a means to rid the shrines of the
contamination that had been placed upon them, but some young girl, still
wearing diapers from the looks of it and not even out of Novicehood,
approached our prayer gathering and stole the sacred idol, then using
Portals to get to Kinsarmar.
The idol was then given to the leader of this fiasco, Laia, in which she
dropped the idol when she left the realms. Nevertheless, the idol was
dropped in the sewers of Caanae with a flame sigil, unable to be picked
up by mortals. Now, it is gone. Anyone that can produce the idol to me
or one of the Council members of Antioch, will recieve a reward. It must
be without magick upon it. We will pay handsomely for the return of it,
in which we will discuss with the individual that may have it.
Contact me at your earliest convenience.
