Greetings Aetherius,

I have walked the lands for many years now, searching for that elusive
thing which so many of us seek and few find: Peace. I was a member of
the Taekyon for a long while, and despite all my training I never found
this respite. One would think that the servants of the Gods would find a
certain divine fulfillment. Perhaps some do, but for me I did not
discover a balm for the pain of my soul there. I have since returned to
my first love, the Hunters guild and it is there that I abide with a new
outlook on things.

How many of you are there who have lost loved ones? Is there anyone out
there who suffers that dull dagger of pain in each remembrance of
someone who has passed from this realm into Dis, never to return? What
comfort have you found to ease this suffering?

I mourned for years over the loss of my love, my heart, my Aria. I
testify before the whole of this land that I did not find any
consolation for this hurt until I was found in Death.

I had questions about existence in the Underworld. I too, had observed
the wailing shades of souls that reside there. I too, once thought that
Dis was a miserable place to spend the life-after. What questions I had
on the subject of this inevitable end were only answered after I sought
the peculiar enlightenment that is found in Lord Thanatos.

The Truth of Lord Thanatos is not for everyone. It is only for those who
value all knowledge without fear, prejudice and limitation.

If you find guidance in the Lady of the Stars, then I encourage you to
continue upon that path. If you find peace only in the Lady Shallah, by
all means continue on in your faith. In all ways and in all things I
hope that you all find the peace of your souls in whatever path you
choose to follow...but if you do not have that which you truly desire,
seek the Order of Death.

I do not claim to have all the answers myself, but I am available for
questions from the curious.
