To Antioch

I realize that relations between the warring nations are strained, to
state the obvious and enormously understate it, but, I wonder at the
actions of the opponents of magick. When has it become mandatory or even
permissible to strip search newbies or threaten to kill them if they do
not allow the search? What do you possibly hope to find? My bardic
novices are not to be treated in such a fashion. I can understand if you
are suspicious of any probated bards but novices, in any guild, are
still being taught and therefore are free of guilt or such malicious
intents for the most part.

I ask for an apology to Kivakjera from Grantz for this base and rude,
lascivious act. If you have a problem with one of my novices, you will
direct it to me. I will even instruct my sweet bardlings to stay out of
your city if you wish. But you will not take it upon yourselves to strip
search a single one of them after summoning them against their will.
What you hope to find in such a search is beyond me and to me, your
actions are only explainable by an intense and previously unknown
corruptive factor that spurs one to molest such innocents. I do hope
this is an isolated incident. I wouldn't want the few I respect in that
city to become marred by the reputation of the disgustingly corrupted
others.

Onward to 2021
