A novice does not know your enemy list. They have new skills and wish to
try them nor did they know not to step into your precious sand box while
trying this.

Secondly, said novice, even now as a probate, has no item of magickal
origin on her person. I would hate to think that you feel magickers must
put sigils, mandolins or other such things under their tunics or stuffed
in the waist of their trousers whenever they see a grain of sand. It
simply isn't done.

The fact that you've summoned, threatened and issued the ultimatum
'Strip or die,' only leaves me to believe that you are a perverted freak
that is just HOPING for a flute to drop out of some unknown orafice so
that you have a chance to strike innocent novices down even after
satisfying your lascivious urges.

I have asked my novices and probates not to enter your city or your
desert. I wouldn't want them to find all the pearls dropped by those
that get sand in those tightly anal retentive places and give them to
the mages to use against you at some point. Keep your paranoia to
yourself when it comes to bard novices.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Ultio, in the year 473 AD.

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
