Greetings residents of Aetherius,

Khandava Council, through Council-wide referendum, has established a
taming and animal trade law in order to ensure that Nature is being
conserved and protected. Anyone caught violating the following
conditions will be banned from taming or possessing animals originally
found in our territory:

1) Taming pets which become undead, or the buying, selling, possession
or trading of said undead animals

2) Weakening animals within our territory and then capturing them with a
lasso

3) Buying, selling, possessing or trading pets to/from Council or Forest
enemies, or the taming of a pet by an enemy

4) Owners or sellers of pets found to kept in consistently poor
conditions, such as being left unprotected or consistently malnourished

Sellers, traders and buyers will be held to this law. If you are in
possession of an animal - or are known to have sold or traded one - that
was taken or traded illegally, you will be warned. Should the warning
not be heeded and the pet, or pets, not released to the Caliphate, the
violator will be declared an enemy to Khandava Council and to the Forest
and placed on a list of people 'banned' from taming or owning creatures
tamed within our territory. Banned people will be labeled 'poachers.'
Enemy status will be lifted upon compliance and the release of the
animals. After five years of banned status, the violator may apply to
the Caliphate via letter, making a case for the lifting of their banned
status.

In addition to enemy status, should the offenses be egregious, warrants
will be issued for the violator and the Forest, embodied by the warriors
of Khandava Council, will see the warrants are executed.

Khandava Council will make every attempt to enforce these new laws. The
Redwood canopy stretches far beyond Khandava Forest and we will do
everything in our power to protect the creatures that have lived, until
recently, in relative safety. We will not tolerate any abuses brought
against them.

protected and subject to the above law:

The new laws are effective immediately.
