That bath you plan on

Written by: Harker Sunjackal, Ithaquan Ranger
Date: Sunday, October 9th, 2005
Addressed to: Kabal Brynja

Since you prefer to have the last word by messaging me threats prior to
snubbing me, I'll address it here.

Kabal tells me via message, since he chose not to respond to either
offers of apology or efforts to mend fences, "For the rest of your days
in this life, I will bathe in your blood. The blood of lying,
egotistical little hypocrite who feigned brotherhood to destroy which
his brother made greater than you ever could."

Kill me if you like. You defeating me in combat will be as surprising as
me defeating you in politics. Neither outcome is particularly
unexpected. If you'd been honest enough with me to tell me "No, Harker,
don't contest me. It angers me that you would try," I would never have.
If you'd been a better leader, it might have taken me longer than five
minutes to obtain two Hierophant votes. I know when I can do better than
someone. That's why I have not and will not contest Selthis. You could
benefit from a longer view on things. I remember when, by doing
precisely what I have done in Ithaqua, you used to praise me. If you had
merely told me, as the friend you claim to be, that you did not want me
to contest you, I would not have. Kill me all you like. You're already
surrounded by the ashes of burned bridges. What's one more to you? And
damn you for letting me down so much, Kabal.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Bellum, in the year 474 AD.
