Years ago I lost two children. One taken while inside, one murdered
before his second birthday by a vengeful father. I paid my gold and
scribed my message of grief and anger towards all as I lashed out with
hatred for I could not comprehend that only one person was to blame.
One, single person to take the brunt of my anger was too simple and I
looked to destroy everyone in my path so they may feel the pain as well

Decades later I have paid my gold and scribe yet another message of
grief and loss, but through the years I have learned much in the ways of
Death. I have learned not to blame others for one person's crime and to
appreciate the gift of Death that you have given my son. The child you
killed had a name and though you may hate me for my race or my husband
for his courage to leave your family, Josiah's soul now is free.

I once respected you as a fighter. Someone who, despite your prejudices
and hatred, at least knew the boundaries between recklessness and
ruthlessness, respect and disrespect. My husband and I have never done
anything against you or your family and wished only to start a new
family in a place safe for our child. I am saddened and disappointed to
see that your petty hatred has blinded you not only to the Truth of
Death, but of the consequences of your actions.

I wonder now as I did then how someone as yourself can find it in you to
take the life of an innocent child. This time, as in last, there is only
one person to blame and I thank you for sparing my child the experience
of seeing the prejudice and hatred that surrounds you. My son is in a
better place. You remain locked in a physical cage as a prisoner
controlled by your own dark emotions. May someday you find the Truth.
