You appear to be confused as to my most distinguished and honorable
brother's intentions, so I would like to help clear a few things up for
you.
First of all, my exalted brother is not putting a "price tag" on the
most noble creatures. Indeed he has only their best interests in mind
when assigning such a value to our esteemed symbol. Suppose we were to
allow any riff-raff to come to possess these most virtuous of creatures?
Indeed, you should feel privileged to pay such a small fee to gain
possession of such a magnificent beast as our noble symbol.
And to claim that these glorious creatures desire to be enslaved by
certain, shall we say, ilk? That's absolutely preposterous, and utter
nonsense. These proud bears do not wish to lose their autonomy,
especially not to filth. No madame Swallowspit, that is not their wish
at all. And as you see, my brother has come up with the solution.
Those.. mongrels that would besmirch the name and image of these noble
creatures are hardly the type to come up with 30k gold pieces. Nay, they
are the sort who crawl and hands and knees, picking rats off the ground
to make a living.
In conclusion, be not so quick to judge the actions of my honorable
brother, for his intents are pure, as ever they've been. The honor of
our noble symbol shall not be muddied by scum and villainy, and we, the
