Exterminations!

Greetings Skye,

I have never posted before publicly but felt the need to on this
occasion to seek clarification on an area of you post, namely the
following part:

And Neotaku, I apologise from the bottom of my heart that Celidon was
unwilling to join in the bloodlust of certain Arboreals caused by a
certain Governor being summoned one too many times for Stavenn's liking
out of his own Towne.

Firstly, I am hoping that I am gravely mistaken in my reading of this
post, but to me you seem to be condoning the extermination of the lands
in Trevka because Mallackai and others were grove summoned from them.

Now whilst both Neotaku and Mallackai seemed to have used ways at their
disposal to aid them in combat, or the avoidance thereof, and I
understand WHY certain tactics where used, that doesn't for one second
mean that I could condone the destruction of the lands for one instant.

You seem to be setting the blame for the exterminations firmly at
Neotaku's door simply because he dared commit the crime of grove
summoning.

Now, whilst of course you are entitled to your opinion, surely as both
the Guildmistress of the Hunters AND an Advisor of Celidon, you should
abhor exterminations in any way, thusly if my reading of your post is
correct, for you to be seen to be condoning exterminations in any way or
form is a total disgrace.

The three forestall councils have their differences, in morals, values
and creeds, they differ vastly in many ways, however, the one thing we
all should be able to stand united on is an abhorrence of this kind of
act.

All true forestalls would support any of the councils when it came to
such an act of violence against the lands. This is one area where we
should have no arguments between us simply solidarity.

If your argument is that Trevka is Stavenns protectorate and theirs to
do with as they wish then you are setting a dangerous precedent, for
what happens if they then expand the area of protectorate at a later
date, what happens if that includes forests, do we then turn an equally
blind eye to exterminations there since it is not within our lands?

I think not, forestalls are sworn to protect the wilds no matter where
or whose protectorate they come under.

The Arboreals, Khandava and Ithaqua have all been active against those
would defile the Wilds in such ways, even some within your own council
have stood up and been counted at such times.

The innocence of the wilds being ravaged in this way is not acceptable
in any way or form or for whatever reason.

Catira

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
