recent troubles

Let me get this out of the way first. What I write is only my opinion
and does not reflect in any way any organization I belong too.

I'm not one much for politics and intrigue, and perhaps this makes me
naive, but the recent postings have created quite some heavy reading. It
all seems to me like the conflicts are created from tempers constantly
flaring. I understand that deep beliefs underscore the entire history of
these events, but sometimes they lead to unnecessary actions on the part
of one person. I too have my own beliefs, and can understand the need to
defend them. What makes the races of Imperian intelligent however is our
ability to restrain those needs when the greater good of the continent
is at stake. I personally hope to see an end to the conflicts in the
near future, but again, perhaps I'm being too naive.

I'm terribly sorry if I have offended anyone, and I understand the risks
of posting my views here, but I stand by what I say.

Please, let us transcend past aggressions by a few hotheads and attempt
to mend the rifts. It does not seem poignant to ignore the teachings of
history.

Thank you for your time,
Acolyte of Nature, Selwin Faris

Onward to 2021
