Greetings everyone,
My name is Iluov Anar, and I have been a loyal Antiochian since birth.
As a testament to dedication and faith in the Cleric's guild, I will be
giving a public lecture centering around magick.
The title of this lecture is: "Tolerance Does Not Mean Acceptance: An
Antiochian's Guide to Approaching Magick." It will outline a brief
history of magick, followed by my personal stance on magick, a Cleric's
stance on magick, and how I believe members of the world approach
magick.
The lecture is public, as stated above, which means all are invited who
wish to attend, and who are not currently enemied to Antioch. The
lecture shall be held in the garden of my home, and I will be
transporting those who wish to attend from the Shuk to the location. I
ask that those who are coming do not bring magickal entities or items -
you will be enemied from the city. Also, if you are attending, please be
on your best behavior as this lecture is meant to be peaceful and
intellectually stimulating.
I apologize to any who may find the location of the lecture to be
uncomfortable. I chose my home because I feel most at ease there, and
because I want those who attend to be in a cozy atmosphere, and my home
is nothing but cozy.
Enemy status will not be dropped for the lecture.
The lecture shall be held at approximately 3:30 GMT on the 18th to 19th
of Halitus 480 AD. Please rest before you come, as the lecture itself is
slated to last about ten minutes, while questions will go on as long as
there are any to ask. So there is no confusion, if there are questions
afterwards, I would ask that you please raise hands to ask, and I will
call on the order of hands raised.
I will also be sending this invitation to each guild master or mistress,
and the leaders of each city and council. I ask that these leaders
please choose one person to go to the lecture so that there can be many
different viewpoints expressed and heard. Also, during the questioning,
the chosen speaker will be the delegate for all those of their
guild/city/council present, and all debatable points should be spoken
through him or her.
