Seasons

Written by: Suspiran Galt Amherst
Date: Saturday, January 7th, 2006
Addressed to: Lyrith Da'Saison, Eye of the Wheel

You enemy those who kill innocents, Lyrith? Then enemy those who've
slain guards in Ithaqua, guards who just did their job and defended
their home.

For too long those of the "wheel" have stood back and "allowed"
violence? My, you act as if you have power! And act it is, isn't it?
Just a little mummers farce to try and make people respect a religion
that soils itself at the first sign of violence and conflict.

I have been an enemy to your precious seasons for many, many years.
You've even tried to worldburn me and some of my allies several times.
Even using that power, you failed to kill us.

I am but an individual. I've been enemied to another religion before,
one which I'll always respect more than I respect your pitiful rabble.
At least that religion had the courage to act on it's word with more
than a poorly directed world burn.

Your god is losing his grip on the world, Lyrith. The cold of winter
always grips Ithaqua, no season every truly touches the pines.

Crawl back into your den of whores and fools, cower within your precious
"fortress". Your walls have about as much power to stop us as a rabbit
trying to face a wolf.
