I'm sad to say that the words that came from the zealot's
mouth strike truer than any I've heard you speak. While
Celidon's reasoning behind the demon law is sound, and I
understand it. The truth of the matter is that the council
-is- stagnant and will continue to be so until everyone in
it loses their fear of conflict and standing by their
beliefs.

You are making a grand public announcement that Celidon
refuses to be drawn into anything resembling such. At the
same time, you continue to ignore the threats to the Wilds,
or do your duty as laid out by the founders of the council.

I think I have some experience in this matter, seeing as
you took over where I left off. I have seen for years the
council's refusal to take part in anything that might
disrupt their quiet lives, regardless of the cost of their
lazy ignorance. This is why I left.

If Celidon wishes to be taken seriously, then they need
to stand up for the values they do hold, and not make
pointless posts about the 'neutrality' of the council. I
had hoped that the next public announcement from the council
I made my home in for decades would be a declaration of
adherence to their true duties: the defense, protection,
and preservation of the Wilds at all costs. Instead it
seems you will return to your insulated world of quiet and
peace and stagnantion.
