Your governor has earned the ire of the Lady of the Waters. First by her
desire to see a shrine to the Waters (which was blessing Whistlerock's
source of water) replaced by a shrine to Civilization, by carrying
through with the replacement, and last, but certainly not least, by
attempting to bribe Lady Lianthe.

My Lady is most displeased, and you may soon feel the effects of Her
Tempest upon you. Her wrath is as strong as the deadliest of storms.

On a side note, Cassandra, I wish to give you a recommendation. The gold
that you attempted to bribe my Lady with might be better served hiring a
teacher who can instruct you on the skill of writing properly. Perhaps a
spelling lesson might be a good start?
