Gratitude

Mathiu,

I didn't seek gratitude, nor acceptance of my beliefs. I went to aid for
my own reasons and purposes in mind. When I got there I found a group of
Kinsarmians and I think a few from Celidon or such, I don't know,
standing outside the bank, milling around while four of their citizens
bodies lay inside dead. Now, I went in and started to attack the
Marionette that was there and for some strange reason, no one came to
see what was going on. They were still milling outside. I retreated back
to catch my breath and still, they looked dumbfounded as I drank health
and healed myself. The nightmare comes out and starts to attack me for a
bit and some of them stand there, don't know if it was disbelief or
shock or what. So then someone gets the lucky blow in and kills it. Now
mind you, this entire time I'm fighting this dream in front of your
general of defense no one went to get the bodies. Even after I I healed
up yet again for the second time the people were milling about, thats
when I shrugged, grabbed the bodies and brought them to the spring.

Now, as far as this whole ordeal and your post, and I see it as an old
saying I hear humans use a lot, but it basically goes 'cutting off your
nose to spite your face.'

I apoligize to Nevore, Caitryn, Kaiae and Kaden for trying to doing
something their citymates should have done. Next time I will let your
bodies collect flies on the side of the road, or else be reprimanded
again for aiding another magicker by your leaders. I also apoligize to
all the novices of Kinsarmar I have helped in the 87 yrs.

And though I have fought many Kinsmarians in the past, and probably will
do so in the future I can at least know clearly I know the true enemy of
magick is not you but rather the zealots in the sand and snow.

So with this Kinsarmar, I wish you good luck in the future, for both
cities may need it in spades. For from the looks of it we will probably
end up battling our common foes alone instead of putting aside our
differences to ensure our beliefs survive for generations to come.

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
