Bardic Challenge

Greetings, all. As a sword swallower, juggler, and street performer at
large, I've performed pretty much across the length and breadth of
Aethierius. As I've done so, I discovered two things. One, pretty much
everyone likes a good drinking song. Two, there are entirely too few
performers out there. It shocked me to realize that I'd never seen a
Bard perform outside of Kinsarmar!
A little while ago, I challenged the Bards at large to a tavern-song
throwdown. I'm pleased to say they held their own, but we all ran out of
steam eventually. So, we're continuing the contest on the 15th of
Ferinus and in a show of bravery, the Bards present agreed to perform at
the Drunken Ibex Tavern in Antioch. No magick of any kind will be used,
displayed, or tolerated by our hosts, of course, but with that in mind
I'd urge the Bards to take up my challenge.
Im willing to bet that Ive a biggest and best collection of drinking
songs and street performances in the Realms... and that I can entertain
an audience without magick better than any other Bard. Are you, the
Bards of Aetherius, willing to live up to your heritage and take the
music out into the streets? Or can you only sing within your own walls?
See you in the walls of Antioch, if you dare...
In Friendly Challenge,
Alleso

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Fas, in the year 491 AD.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
