Respectfully, the affairs of Kinsarmar are no longer your own. Perhaps
if Stavenn were to elect a Cleric to its council your words could be
heeded, but again, with all respect due to you, this has nothing at all
to do with you; and Kinsarmar would appreciate that you keep such
foolish notions as your belief that you can affect the opinion of the
people of Kinsarmar to yourself. Kinsarmar has never appreciated Stavenn
or its citizens in their attempts to control or manipulate us, and this
rule will not be bent for you. The outspoken belief of one Stavennite
that Macai is unworthy of the position of Erege will merely cement him
there, as the whole of Kinsarmar rallies behind him. And, needless to
say, against you. Again.

As for your suggestion for Erege Macai to 'embrace Magick fully and
forgo the powers of the Divine,' what variety of cactus has produced the
substance you consumed that made you spout such nonsense? Kinsarmar has
never doubted a union between Magick and Divine. You sound as though you
are of the same coin as the Antiochans, who believe Magick and the Gods
totally disperate, you merely represent the other side. Perhaps you
despise our Patron, a God of Magick, and Macai for serving him, but you
must admit that another of our pantheon, the Lady Eloweth, would
undoubtably aruge most stridently that embracing Magick has nothing to
do with rejecting the Divine. Do you worship no God, Ryax, that you may
more fully concentrate on your Magick? If you do follow some order, I
fear your words will be met with more laughter then before, as they are
not only foolish but then also hypocritical.

Keep to the affairs of your city, and allow Kinsarmar and her elected
Ereges to keep to hers.
