The Clerics have stood for none of those things that you have mentioned,
at least the ones you all allow to wander into the North. In these
lands, we have seen two major examples of what Clerics can be. You've
offered us Tiaz, the man who would not duel to save his own woman from
Stavenn, the man who spouts off childish insults and vulgarities as he's
being slain, the man who has taken a Mace of Judgement that might've
once been noble and used it to bring down helpless probates.

This man is no Cleric. He is a bloodthirsty welp, and a coward who runs
whenever he realizes his Mace of Judgement comes up short.

We have also seen Macai, a man who selflessly devotes himself to his
city, offering aid in whatever fashion he can. He is no warrior, but he
is a testament to true Clerical behavior, as I've read. You threaten
this man for loving a God, and taking a different path. He does not
fight however, and would be an easy hunt for the groups of nine of you
that come out to kill anyone.

Good thing for you I'm a man that does fight.

I will stand as his Guardian and defend him, as his fayth defends
Kinsarmar. An act of open aggression against him will result in me
chasing down the culprits, fighting them in teams if I must and burning
them alive with all the fury the flame will allow.

I am not Tiaz. I will not hunt those who have done no wrong.

Abandon Macai. He is no longer a blind sheep who wanders idly in the Sun
God's flock. The North is his keeper now, and those who stand as Pillars
of the North will see that all are defended.
