Greetings, Aetherius!

The Council of Celidon is proud to present to you an official tournament
to be held within the next year! This is an excellent chance to get
together to hone those skills in such a wide event with potential
contestants from all over the lands! Not only will it earn you the right
to an ego the size of the realms, it will also earn you a few fawning
glances as that year's Champion.

If fame and attention isn't enough to grab your attention, the Champion,
and first and second runner-ups will be rewarded with a prize for their
combat expertise and fierceness on the Battlefield. The prizes will be
listed below, and the tournament will be held at the Celidon arena, so
Council enemies need not apply, unless they believe they can handle the
guards.

1st place prize will include 15 credits, a sum of 15,000 gold, and a
golden trophy that symbolizes the champion of what will become Celidon's
triennial battle tournament! Second place prize will include 10 credits
and a sum of 10,000 gold, along with the silver trophy that goes along
with it. And finally, third place will include a prize of 5 credits,
5,000 gold, and the bronze trophy.

A small entry fee of 1000 gold will be required, and will pay for your
duels throughout the tournament. Entries are being taken in the form of
letters, and will need to include your name and class (for pairing
purposes), along with the entry fee.

The date for the Triennial Celidonian Tournament will be decided at a
later time, and an update will be posted with such information.
