Greetings, Aetherius.
For those of you this doesn't concern, you may as well skip right over
this post. I am sorry that I have to write yet again to repeat myself or
confirm such things, apparently I wasn't clear enough when I wrote it
the first time, so I will do this one last time. Any more, and you're on
your own.
Over the past two months, many questions have been raised about the law,
as
demonic companions, slaves, or entities wasn't clear enough, so I'll say
it specifically. The new law pertains to those who are undead, in
demonic form, or are accompanied by ourobori, hounds, or Noctu entities.
I have agreed that in the arena they may use their demons, but not
before, and as soon as they exit the arena, they are not to go near the
Chutes with them, but to stay where they are when they are thrown out,
and banish them before they move. This is all in the spirit of fair
play, because in the arena, they can't harm anyone, truly. However, if
this minimal exception is abused, it too will be revoked. I am a fan of
arena events, though, so hopefully it won't be a problem.
The system will again be that of one warning, twice gone. The fine is
5k, 5 years, doubling if it is broken after the first offense.
Furthermore, I did want to say that, while the Hunters' adamamancy
against the demons within Celidon was what finally convinced me this law
needed to go under consideration again, this is by no means the guild,
or
furthermore, it's mistress' doing. I had long before brought up the
subject, before I was even Emeris, and considered the limits it put on
our political alliances. There was potential for trade agreements
between Stavenn, even if it was so slim, but they had not acted upon it
soon enough, so the chance was lost, if it ever existed. I have said
this before, and this is repetitive, but apparently not all caught it. I
will also take the liberty of saying that the resulting vote was an
outcome of 18-7, meaning the vote to have the law repealed was far over
half of the council voters, thus it was far from a one-person vote. I
myself was among those who voted for its riddance.
I apologize again, to whom this didn't concern, and will repeat, any
further questions are best to be cleared up, so feel free to ask me at
any time.
Signed,
