Mom, Dad,

I know it's been a while since I've talked to you. What was it, four
years ago when I ran away? It was pretty rough living on my own like
that, but I was always good at taking care of myself.

I hope you two are doing alright. I know, it's a little late for that
but I really do hope so. I'd like to think I've grown up some and I
realize how much I miss you both. I guess that's what this letter is
about.

There's so much I've seen and done these past few years. I've joined the
Hunters and I've learned a lot from them. I'm in a sect they call the
Rovers. Basically, I do a lot of traveling and exploring. I fit in here
and I'm doing better now than those first couple of years when I wasn't
sure where I was going or how I was going to feed myself.

I'm dating a girl, which might come as a shock. She's been good for me I
think. You'll have to meet her of course. That is.. well, if you two
still want me in your life. I wasn't sure where to send this letter, so
I'm placing it on the public news board hoping you'll notice.

If by some chance we can still be a family, send me a message? Or a
letter? And if we can't, then I want you to know you don't have to worry
about me. I'm healthy, happy and doing good things with my life now.
