The Rogue Lord

What does every man, woman and child have deep inside them?

Potential.

That potential, that mortal spark to achieve is what separates us from
the beasts of burden. That potential best evidenced itself in the glory
of Ancient Caanae. This was a place where a man's ability, his cunning
and his desires were the only limiting factors of what he could become.
However, with the Sundering of the Moon, the essence of magick seeped
into our world and changed all of that. An unstable force that just as
easily strengthens your enemies as it does your allies, just as easily
harms you as much as it helps was released in the lands during the
Sundering. Soon after the Moon split, the magick-empowered orcs ravaged
Caanae, and the people of Caanae spread across the land. Many fell to
weakness, no longer relying upon themselves but instead upon the
insidious "boons" of magick.

However, this is not meant to be a history lesson, as I am sure most of
you are well aware of that. It is rather, to tell you all of growth and
adaptation. Where once the Rogue Lord gave those who relied on magick
the benefit of His Patronship, this shall no longer be the case. So long
as you rely on magick, you cannot rely upon your own potential. A
cripple walking on crutches is still a cripple. The harsh nature of our
world means that the cripple must either work to heal themselves or
become fodder for those who are stronger.

In closing, the Order of the Rogue Lord is no longer welcoming those who
rely upon the crutches of magick or demonology. Nor will it be allowing
those who bed down with those who rely upon the crutch. As there are
some magickers currently within the Congregation, you will have 3 months
to decide whether your dedication to yourself or your dedication to a
false sense of strength is more valuable.

Of course, those who choose to seek out a lifestyle relying upon their
own potential will have a place within the following. The congregation
is open; you need only seek it out.

Ward Well,
Selthis

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
