Kana Hoo, Ca'Striena, and Greetings Khandava!
I would like to take the time to introduce myself to all of you in the
Council. I was found many years ago in the Varidian Highlands as a baby,
left or stole, I am still not sure. A poor man from Kinsarmar found me
stranded and helpless and took me back to his home outside of the city.
Once he had made sure I was healthy and fit...He sold me as a slave to
the Empire of Stavenn. I spent many years as a slave there. I escaped my
servitude when I turned 18 years old. I worked, slaved, and toiled...and
eventually I earned my freedom.
As a Servior of the Empire I found myself homeless, and without any
knowledge of the world outside the Empires walls. I decided to join a
guild, I happened to stumble upon the Malignists and set out on a path
that would lead me down a very dark road. I spent just a little more
than 4 years in the Empire, but during my time there I accomplished
much. A Malignists, his name Indoum, became my Mentor as he was
impressed with my knowledge of- lets just say- interrogation, problem
solving, and apptitude for combat. He took me in and showed me the ways
of the Empire and the guild, but his intentions for doing so were unkown
to me. When I first walked into the guildhall I stirred something in
him. He knew that I was his daughter, although I did not...Until my 20th
birthday when he informed me that I was taken from him when I was just a
few days old. At the time he was an enemy to many places in Aetherius
and had cast a dark charm over me concealing my true race and identity.
On my 20th birthday he revealed all to me and inducted me into my family
line, the Vian'Cirith.
So now that you know my history and where I have come from I'd like to
tell you about what I accomplished after my slave days as a slave. I
joined the Malignist Cabal...the scholars and ritualists of the dark
arts and the Pit. I learned of many rituals and much of the "power"
behind the Pit, its demons, and the dark arts surrounding them. In time
I would be asked to be a novice aide as I was training many young
novices and mentoring those who did not have my drive and
dertermination. I was promoted very quickly through the ranks, achieving
a rank as high as any in the guild...I was a member of the Curved Cross,
a group one would not want to trifle with. I achieved my status in the
guild by hard work in my studies, leading and organizing those below me
on Guildhunts, defending the Empire, and for my work with the novices.
My last promotion was a result of my work that I was doing in the
Empire.
I found a nice home in Blackthorne, a swampy bog full of Kohdon warriors
and interesting creatures. I became a towne aide and began to make sure
that every commodity that was put out was sent back to Stavenn. In time
I would run caravans to all of the Empires townes keeping the refinery
stocked and making much gold for those who would assist me. I was also a
juror in the Arbites Curia, or Imperial Courts...If there was one who
was to be enemied we would decide their fine, sentance if needed, and
time served. We also would vote on the removal of an enemy. In time I
would receive a favour or two for my work achieving full status as a
citizen of Stavenn. Around the same time my work with caravans and
training of those with an interest landed me a position as the Minister
of Trade where I accomplished many things, however, It also opened my
eyes to what Stavenn truly is.
I realized after a year of running the Trade that Stavenn was a falling
empire. It is a City run by arrogant and foolish leaders. They are
blinded by their warmongering ways and were isolated from the rest of
the world. By attaining a Ministry position I became one of the highest
ranking members of the Empire and many of the older and lower ranking
members became threatened by my success. I decided to leave and find a
life that would take me back to the world and land that I had begun to
love so much. My next endevour and new path in life was towards
protecting the flora and fauna of Aetherius from those who I had worked
with for so long. I joined the Arboreals and have been happily walking a
sunny and fullfilling path so far. I have been in the guild for a short
time, but it did not take long for me to realize that my home would no
longer be in the urban setting, but in the forests. My grove is in the
Celidon, but my heart went to Khandava.
If I can be of service to anyone let me know...I transcendant in taming
and will gladly train any pet that you would like trained. Now that I am
a member of the Council I fully intend to begin running Caravans once
again. If you would like to join me, if you have an interest in the
Trade or just caravans let me know and I will help you with that as
well. I also have full knowledge in weaponry and can provide limited
tattoo services as well.
Glad to find a new home,
Legouloue Vian'Cirith
Penned by my hand on the 10th of Aequitas, in the year 502 AD.
