Hypocrisy

My dearest taekyon friend,

I just wanted to thank you. You see, I didn't know that the ocean was a
part of the desert. Bah!! You would slay one like me for hunting in the
sea in the name of what is just? I wasn't an enemy of you, your city or
your guild and you slew me. Not only that, but you did it from afar,
with your mind tricks. Have you no honour? You are eight times my might!
I can see Yalun rolling over in his grave now.

And I take issue with your law. I was born in the Arkaskarr and should
have the right to visit from time to time. Nevertheless, I'll stay out
of your desert, but I will go to the sea if I wish. As for you? If you
wish to fight me, bring it on. I don't fear death. In death I become
stronger. But this time, don't cast your curses from afar, please? That
would only make you look weak.

The thing is, if you do slay me again you prove nothing. I'm still young
and inexperienced. It appears your weakness shall be made known to all
regardless of your next course of action. Your behavior has brought a
curse upon you. Though you slay me many times over my curse shall remain
until it has been fulfilled. There are things worse than death,
afterall. Hypocrisy is one of them. Perhaps I will think of others. I'll
get back to you on that, okay?

The horrible offender,
Nednod

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
