Greetings family,

Most of you will not read this, and those that will most likely won't
for several years to come.

The level of disappointment that I feel about this family is
unmeasurable. The family that was one of the greatest, original
bloodlines, to grace this world has fallen into a state of decay. This
level of decay, I'm afraid, most likely can't be repaired. Not because I
am not willing, but that most of you are unwilling to take an active
part in the growth of our family. There are no marriages, there are no
children, there is no political activity, there is nothing left that
enables our name to be uttered on another person's lips. The Gods know I
have tried to increase the size of this family with nine children and
remain active in politics. Through all this, I see little to none of any
of you.

One of my brothers even promised me that he would be around more if I
invested in his skills. I invested a -lot- into these skills, for him,
for this family, and his promise was not honored. This, among many other
reasons, makes my stomach churn with distaste.

I have been pondering leaving this name of Lokrien behind me and
beginning a future with another family, one that actually gives a damn
about what it is to be family. If I can manage to find a suitable
subject for marriage, which none of you will attend because you are
gone, I will most likely cast aside this name, attempting to forget that
I even had any of you as family.

Yes, I am hurt. Yes, I feel this pain associated with abandonment. I do
not wish to feel it any longer. If this decision of mine is made
perminant, I will no longer be the Matron of this bloodline, the title
of head of this family will fall onto the shoulders of my daughter Kari.

I will continue to pray, that all of you will come around to what I have
finally expressed.
