Some will find my words offensive, those who feel the same will agree
with what I say and others still will take my words and ponder for
themselves what is true and what is not. I do not make these words
public on behalf of any organization or for any other reason then to
possibly open a few minds.
Fayth and Magick-
Some would argue that of the two forms of power one is superior to the
other. I have come to believe that is like comparing red to pink. Both
have their unique aspects and work better for particular things but in
the end,at the basic heart of it, they are connected. How does one draw
such conclusion? Taking common knowledge that all Divine have deemed
true from Creator to Destroyer, and having practiced on both sides of
the proverbial fence. What common knowledge do I draw from? If one reads
the general scroll regarding the moons then one will read this
paragraph. "Another effect of the Breaking was the fragmentation of the
pooled Diachaim. Though pure Diachaim courses through all realms at the
same time, the fragmented Diachaim ceased to do this; a flow in the
physical realm was no longer connected to its counterpart in the
spiritual realm. ----Diachaim no more, this fragmented power became
known as Magick.-- It is not known if Magick exists anywhere other then
upon our own planet." We know that Diachaim flows through all. All
realms all things. Like an ocean. Magick came from Diachaim. Magick is
like taking salt water and straining it till it is fresh. It flows like
a current of fresh through the through the salty ocean ,of the Diachaim
in this realm, so far as we know. How can one speculate ones superiority
over the other when at the very heart of it they are the same substance?
Both have unique qualities like fresh water and salt water. Magick is
better for some things while Fayth can be better for others. Fayth is
wielding Diachaim through prayer, granted by the gods. Magick is
channeling through one's own will and using one's own knowledge to wield
or mold into being.
If the two have so much in common why then is it that people who wield
these powers are at odds? Both sides believing the superiority of one
over the other? First off let us take some more basic knowledge, though
not commonly known or accepted, for it is only the Truth that is hardest
to swallow. Like Diachaim and Magick, at the very core of us all, the
very substance which comprises our true being is the same. Divine and
mortal alike of the same substance. Divine ,like Diachaim, are comprised
of much larger amounts, like comparing crumbs to chunks, but at the
heart the same. Mortals who wield Magick, like those who practice Fayth
could be said in a sense to be channeling through a sort of divinity as
well.. themselves. That is not to say we are all gods but we are as
immortal as the gods. The flesh that encases us is not the same as
theirs, many can not roam or will ever possess the exact powers as the
Divine but we all hold their potential, we hold the ability to defy and
supplicate as much as they hold the ability to reward and destroy.
Some would say that such words are blasphemous. To that.. if it said by
a Divine in their own holy scriptures how then is it blasphemous? I do
not make idle assumptions or boisterous claims. I look at facts and
simple truths. Now the Magick and Fayth conflict is much more beyond the
surface of such simple truths because some that practice Magick also
practice demonology and necromancy. Antiochians define taint as Magick
because they believe that when the Diachaim pooled in the moon it was
somehow corrupted and impure. How can this assumption be made? Because
they say that Magick only ever yields destruction and corruption? Look
to the Tarot, does it not contain the Priestess? A healing ability? Do
not other Magicks also hold some form of healing capability? Albeit not
as endowed as the arts of a priest's healing but constructive none the
less. I have lived in each of the known circle- magicker, demmoner,
devotioner, and none. I have studied many things. In the end?
Corruption and destruction lies forever and always in the soul of a an
individual. Corruption does not simply set in because of the circle they
choose to practice in. Corruption has so many form and guises, so often
does it couple with a blinding ignorance to what it is, that many
believe they are not corrupted. Hatred makes a person blind to so many
things, masking itself as religious fury, or prideful righteousness...
Some would ask what then is the point of my words? The world is ever
changing. With the changes comes always a time of adjusting and
adapting. Perhaps it is time another great change began to help usher in
the adjusting. All the circles have been at odds with one another
because aside from the individual actions of some they feel there is a
great dividing difference in aspects to how they gain and use power.
Magick and Diachaim are different, yet they are the same. We are all
different, yet at the core of it all, the same. Does this mean that we
should lay down the aggressions and war? Of course not, for war is
needed element. There is a balance to all things, for peace there must
be war, for good there must be evil. But it is an understanding and
acceptance of the balance that is not quite so common. An understanding
that despite the seeming differences, the seeming superiorities, in the
end, everything was derived from the same.
I do not look at this world and judge its peoples by the path they
choose to walk. I look to the world and do not see circles, I see souls.
I see people. Some evil, some good, some neutral. Yes for those that
would believe it does not exist. Neutrality is as real as anything else,
there will always be a gray, no matter how fine, that rests between the
light and dark. To try and impose limitations as boundaries is to deny
freedom. Freedom of the mind and soul, why then I ask would any so
willing wish to cage themselves?
If my words offend, upset or disturb, if you wish to leap to your feet
and hunt me down for your anger.. by all means.. prove me right. Because
that hatred, that is corruption and you let it blossom quite well when
you serve your desires for blood. For in the end -I- cannot be harmed
for -I- exist beyond this shell. You may tear my flesh and break my
bones.. the words of a martyr are far longer remembered than the death
that made them such.
