I had reason to attack all of the citizens that I did. I did not attack
Aivas before this, I did that after. Let me give you a few examples.
Aivas- Because he attacked me, with you, three on one. Note that Firion
didn't enter this fight
Lasine- Because she openly mocked me, as a cleric, I had a burning
hatred for her.
Ellia- To lure my old buddy Toma out. I'm not sure if I'm impressed that
he didn't take the bait, or disgusted that he would show such wanton
disregard for his wife's well-being
Dergon- Because she was in the Ik'Taru Expanse, which I regard as
Khandava's territory
Kerbel- She mocked me when I left the Clerics to join the Arboreals
Velsiri and Sarthan- For coming to team me after I killed Kerbel. I know
you weren't there just to "pick up the corpse"
Voran, Anthe, Ellia, etc, etc, for teaming me. I think that covers every
single kill I've made
You seem to have a twisted perception of how "fair" combat works. Unlike
you, I rarely team. Jumping someone unawares, is perfectly acceptable,
however, which is what I did. I'm not going to tell you, "Hey, I'm after
you. Beware."
Your triangle theory is interesting, and I accept it. So, then, the orcs
and the forestals have a common enemy, anti-magick. Thus, the triangle
becomes a square. Even though we strive for the same target, that does
not imply alliance with the orcs. I would just as soon kill them as I
would kill a sand rat
Now, about my revenge. I did it without teaming. That is what makes my
revenge different from yours. I came alone, knowing full well that I was
going to die. What has happened to your "honor"? There is no honor in
bullies ganging up on the little kid.
I had my own reasons for killing your citymates. And in my twisted kind
of way, I exacted brutal justice to those undeserving of life. Much like
you would ambush me at my weakest, after fending off three demoners, I
caught your citymates off-guard. Tell me why this is "wrong"
Your city is not one of justice and light. It was, once. I remember a
time, when I was young. Bards sang openly in the tavern, and Lorekeepers
and Justicars talked at Victory Circle. That is the Antioch I will
always remember. This present incarnation is nothing but a lie, a mere
shadow, of the former Antioch. You kid yourself, if you think your
twisted lies, teaming, and self-delusions stand for justice.
